Abstract:
To provide a method and apparatus for acquiring a corrosion image, capable of reducing the dose of radiation and performing corrosion investigation in a simple way and with equivalent accuracy to conventional accuracy.
The corrosion image acquisition method irradiates an object to be tested with radiation and acquires a corrosion image showing a corrosion state of the object to be tested, based on the radiation penetrating through the object to be tested. As detection means of detecting the radiation penetrating through the object to be tested, a photon counting sensor is used to form a corrosion image, based on the results obtained with the photon counting sensor.
