Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively prevent the corrosion by a different kind metal, and also surely prevent the leakage of a fluid.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical metal insert member 20 is fixed to the inner circumferential surface 28 of a metal valve box 4 through an insulating layer having electric insulating property. A female screw part 22 for screwing the end part male screw part 7 of a pipe 1 to be connected is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the insert member u The pipe 1 to be connected is formed of a metal pipe body 4 and a corrosion resistant resin layer 6 for covering the inner surface of the pipe body 5. The insert member 20 is formed of the same material as the metal pipe body 5 of the pipe 1 to be connected.
