To provide a corrugate fin excelling in draining capability of condensed water and improved in working efficiency in manufacturing an evaporator; and to provide an evaporator using the same.
This corrugate fin 14 for an evaporator includes wave crest portions 14a, wave trough portions 14b, and flat connection portions 14c connecting together the wave crest portions 14a and the wave trough portions 14b. Cutouts 95 are respectively formed in the wave crest portions 14a and the wave trough portions 14b. Both end portions of each cutout 95 are extended to corresponding connection portions 14c located at opposite sides of the wave crest portion 14a and the wave trough portion 14b. A projecting portion 96 projecting inward is formed integrally with end portions of the connection portions 14c, the end portions of the connection portions 14c corresponding to both ends of the cutout 95. The projection 96 is formed in such a manner as to extend between the end portions of the cutout 95 at the connection portions 14c located on both the sides of the wave crest portion 14a and the wave trough portion 14b. The projection 96 is projected inward in a V-shaped form.
