Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator, facilitating the application of cosmetics to fine parts.SOLUTION: This cosmetics applicator 10 is used for applying viscous liquid cosmetics to the eyelashes and/or the eyebrows. The applicator 10 includes an application part 12 extending in its longitudinal direction at the tip of a support shaft 11. The application part 12 includes: a base 13; a number of projections 14 erected thereon; and/or a plurality of grooves 15 recessed in the base 13. The plurality of projections 14 or grooves 15 located in the tip area in the application part 12 make an angle equal to or more than 0° and under 60° to the longitudinal direction of the support shaft 11. Preferably the projections and/or grooves located in an area adjoining to the tip area in the application part 12 make an angle equal to or more than 60° and equal to or less than 160° to the longitudinal direction of the support shaft 11.
