Abstract:
To provide an applicator for applying a product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, designed such that holding force for the product is improved by external surfaces of fibers.SOLUTION: An applicator, carried by a stem, having a plurality of fibers 11, the fibers having a plurality of portions 13, 15, at least two portions 13, 15 of which are made of different materials, and the fibers not having, in cross section, an articulated zone defined by one of the portions 13, 15, (i) the portions 13, 15 made of different materials each defining a part of an outer periphery p of the fiber in section, or (ii) one of the portions 13, 15 made of different materials entirely surrounding the other in section and having at least one region that narrows toward the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
