To prepare a makeup cosmetic free from stickiness and bleeding, having good feelings upon use and having retention.
The subject cosmetic composition comprises polymer particles dispersed in a fatty phase and apolar wax having <65°C melting point in an amount of at least 5 wt.% based on total weight of the composition. The cosmetic composition comprises, preferably, the fatty phase containing a nonvolatile hydrocarbon-based oil in an amount of at least 5 wt.% based on total weight of the composition and polymer particles dispersed in the fatty phase and further at least one kind of apolar wax having <65°C melting point. In the cosmetic composition containing (i) polymer particles dispersed in the fatty phase and (ii) at least one kind of wax, dynamic viscosity of the composition measured at 25°C by using Mettler RM 180 rotational viscometer is 0.1-120 Pa s and the content of the wax is ≥15 wt.% based on total weight of the composition.
