To obtain a cosmetic, bathing agent or detergent composition containing a moisture-retaining vegetable component exhibiting the moisture- retaining effect continuing over a long period and effective for preventing, ameliorating or improving the skin troubles such as dryness, roughened skin, chaps, kibes, dandruff, itchiness and inflammation and hair troubles such as dry hair, looseness, split hair and broken hair or imparting luster to the hair.
The objective cosmetic, bathing agent or detergent composition contains two or more vegetable extracts selected from cucumber, Panax ginseng, Chinese matrimony vine (Lycium chinense), loquat, pine and fermented milk.
