Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject cosmetic having sufficient effects by moderate actions by including a dielectronic reducing type oxidase using oxygen as a receptor and a donor different from an oxidation dye precursor for hair dyeing therein. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by including (A) a dielectronic reducing type oxidase which is an enzyme capable of producing hydrogen peroxide using oxygen as a receptor [e.g. a pyranose oxidase(PROD), a glucose oxidase(GOD) or a glycerol oxidase], (B) a donor for the respective enzymes different from an oxidation dye precursor for hair dyeing (e.g. D-glucose, L-sorbose or D-xylose for the PROD, D-glucose for the GOD and glycerol or dihydroxyacetone for the glycerol oxidse). In the above cosmetic, the amounts of the respective ingredients formulated in the cosmetic are preferably 1 to 1×10<8> units/100 g ingredient A and 0.01-60 wt.% ingredient B expressed in terms of the concentrations used for actual hair.
