Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a cosmetic composition containing a specific pseudo latex, having a film forming property and used for protecting the hair, making up or protecting the skin.
CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic composition contains a pseudo latex based on a polyblock polycondensation compound of which molecular chain consists of a repeating unit of at least 1 kind of a polysiloxane block with at least 1 kind of a polyurethane block and/or a polyurea block, of which the polyurethane block and/or polyurea block further contain an anionic group (e.g.; a completely or partially neutralized carboxyl functional group or sulfonic acid functional group) or a cationic group (e.g.; a completely or partially neutralized and/or quaternarized tertiary amine). The number averaged molecular weight of the polycondensation compound is 2000-500000, preferably 3000-250000, and a ratio of the number of the polyurethane type and/or polyurea type blocks based on the number of the polysiloxane type blocks is 1-10, preferably 1-3.
