Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition which has good stability of viscosity, usage properties and function properties.
SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition characteristically contains the components (A) and (B); the component (A) being an amphoteric polyurethane resin containing a polysiloxane chain having a structure unit derived from a compound represented by the formula (1) (wherein R1, R6-R9 represent each an alkyl group; R2-R5 represent each CnH2n; and R10 represents methyl group or ethyl group), and/or an amphoteric polyurethane resin holding a polysiloxane compound; the components (B) being a hydrophobic modified polyether urethane represented by the formula (2): R1-{(O-R2)k-OCONH-R3[-NHCOO-(R4-O)n-R5]h}m (wherein R1, R2 and R4 represent each a hydrocarbon group; R3 represents a hydrocarbon group which can have a urethane bond; R5 represents a hydrocarbon group, a fluorocarbon group, an alkylsilicone group and an aromatic hydrocarbon group.
