Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide the following: a plastic container for a cosmetic, in which the container has excellent antibacterial performance and is derived from a polyester resin composition obtained by adding masterbatch antibacterial glass, and the like; and an efficient method for manufacturing the plastic container for a cosmetic, the method using laser welding. Provided is a plastic container for a cosmetic, in which the container comprises a lid part made of a colored opaque polyester resin and a plastic container body made of a colored transparent polyester resin or a colorless transparent polyester resin. Also provided is a method for manufacturing the plastic container for a cosmetic. The lid part has a protruding part that is pressure welded to an inside wall of the plastic container body. The protruding part and a portion of the inside wall of the plastic container body are laser welded. The lid part comprises a colored opaque polyester resin and a masterbatch antibacterial glass derived from an antibacterial resin composition containing added components (A) and (B), where (A) is 100 parts by weight of a polyester resin and (B) is 5 to 40 parts by weight of an antibacterial glass.
