PURPOSE: To provide a cosmetic container having a container body and a cover which may have different colors, having a simple structure while exhibiting a high quality appearance, and which can be manufactured at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: A die is formed therein with a container cavity part 15, a cover cavity part 25 and a hinge cavity part 35 which are continuous with one another. A container body 10 and a cover 20 are molded from a first synthetic resin 13 and a second synthetic resin 23 which are injected through a first pouring gate 50 and a second pouring gate 60, respectively. The first synthetic resin 13 and the second synthetic resin 23 are integrally molded in such a molding condition that the fused parts of the first synthetic resin 13 and the second synthetic resin 23 take a position where a hinge part 30 is molded from either the first synthetic resin 13 or the second synthetic resin 23.
