Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition stabilizing a hydrophilic active ingredient unstable in an oxidative medium, showing a good feeling on application, not showing any irritation after the application, adapting to the limitation of an industrial apparatus in its production process and especially usable in the cosmetic field.
SOLUTION: This composition for local use contains at least one oxidation sensitive hydrophilic active ingredient and at least one uncross-linked N- vinylimidazole polymer or copolymer in a physiologically permissible medium including an aqueous phase, and the active ingredient and the polymer or copolymer exist in the aqueous phase.
