Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic foundation excellent in durability or persistency of cosmetic effect and making-up using the same.
SOLUTION: A compound which is a fluorine-modified silicone resin bearing silanol group in the molecule and has the formula: R1nSi0(4-n)/2 (R1 a 1-8C hydrocarbon group, phenyl group, hydroxyl group or a general formula: -R2-Rf, and arbitrarily selected from the functional groups in which the hydroxyl group and the general formula: -R2-Rf are included as essential groups; R2 is a 2-6C divalent alkylene; Rf is a 1-8C perfluoroalkyl group; n is 1.0 ≤ n ≤ 1.8 on the average) is formulated to the objective cosmetic foundation. This foundation is applied at first, then a powder-containing cosmetic is used.
