Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic water-containing gel sheet showing a transparent feeling and not being conspicuous on its application.
SOLUTION: This cosmetic gel sheet is obtained by laminating a water- containing gel layer consisting of a polyacrylic acid and its salt, water, glycerol, etc., on a fiber layer of a supporting body obtained by laminating a transparent film, e.g. a polyethylene film/a pulp (a paper), a polyester film/a rayon non- woven fabric, etc., with a fiber layer consisting of a pulp or a rayon, and then maturing by heating to perform a cross-linking.
