To provide a cosmetic for hair styling, exhibiting excellent hair-styling force and hair-restyling force while being an aqueous system and having a low viscosity, free from greasy feeling, having smooth feeling and providing excellent lightness of finish.

The cosmetic for the hair styling contains (a) 0.1-10 mass% of an adhesive resin having adhesiveness and (b) 0.1-10 mass% of a hair-setting resin, wherein the adhesive resin (a) has the adhesiveness of 1-30 of ball number in a sloping ball-tack test (30° slope, 25°C and 50% humidity) when a film having 0.1 mm thickness is formed out of a composition containing 50 mass% of the real component of the resin by drying the composition for one day at 25°C in 50% humidity. As a result, the cosmetic having the excellent hair-styling force and hair-restyling force and free from greasy feeling, smooth feeling, and excellent lightness of finish and suitable for the use by spraying in a mist shape is provided.
