To provide a cosmetic for infrared protection having improved protection unevenness of infrared reflecting effects after coating without uneven application during coating of the cosmetic.
The cosmetic is obtained by including (1) hollow resin spherical powder which may be coated with a metal oxide and (2) boron nitride powder. The hollow resin spherical powder which may be coated with the metal oxide preferably consists essentially of polyacrylonitrile and may be coated with the metal oxide. Titanium dioxide is preferably used as the metal oxide for coating in the hollow resin spherical powder which may be coated with the metal oxide. The average particle diameter of the hollow resin spherical powder is preferably 10-30 μm and preferably for the protection from infrared rays.
