To obtain a cosmetic having improved skin load and skin adhesion, an excellent feeling in use, etc., comprising a pigment, an aqueous component, an oily component and a surfactant, by adding a specific compound to the oily component.
This cosmetic comprises (A) a pigment (preferably an inorganic pigment such as iron oxide or the like and a surface treating inorganic pigment), (B) an aqueous component (preferably glycerol, ethanol or the like), (C) an oily component (preferably squalane, jojoba oil, etc.), and (D) a surfactant in which the component C contains a polyoxypropylene derivative. The objective cosmetic is preferably an aqueous double layer foundation type cosmetic in which the component A covered with a W/O type emulsion is dispersed in water and the component A does not exist in the vicinity of the surface of the dispersion. A reaction product of a polyoxypropylene n-butyl-ester and a polyoxypropylene glycol having 52 oxypropylene repeating units or the like, etc., are preferable as the polyoxypropylene derivative.
