Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressed lumber having sufficient bond strength and favorable external aesthetic appearance, and a method of manufacturing the dressed lumber.SOLUTION: A dressed lumber 1 comprises a base material 2 having hollow parts 23; and a decorative sheet material 3 for covering at least one surface of the base material 2. The base material 2 includes hollow cross sections 231 of the hollow parts 23 exposed thereto, and one or more sets of two first end faces 2a that are bonded to each other. The decorative sheet material 3 includes one or more sets of two second end faces 3a coming into contact with each other, in a state where the second end faces 3a come into contact with each other, a foamable resin 4 is provided between the first end faces 2a, and the first end faces 2a are bonded to each other. In the state where the first end faces 2a are bonded to each other, the foamable resin 4 is foamed to be expanded and introduced from the respective hollow cross sections 231 to the respective hollow parts 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
