To provide a cosmetic which has brought out essential functions of pigment by finely dispersing the pigment particle stably.

This cosmetic comprises the pigment and an organic solvent, where the pigment is provided with enhanced steric repulsion toward each other and a charge generated on the surface thereof and is prevented from sedimentation by coating at least a part of the outer surface of the pigment covered with an acrylic silicone graft polymer, with a polymer compound self-dispersible in an aprotic organic solvent having an electric resistance of at least 109 Ω cm, and therefore the pigment can stably maintain dispersion stability and electrostatic charging properties. Thus, the cosmetic not suffering from sedimentation after a long-term service and exhibiting excellent color development can be provided.
