To provide a cosmetic for a spray device, capable of increasing dissolution quantity of carbon dioxide gas and facilitating application to the skin to improve blood flow-promoting effect.

A lotion 21 as a cosmetic for a spray device is housed in a liquid container 20 of a spray device with a carbon dioxide gas as a propellant and mist-sprayed by injection of the carbon dioxide gas. The lotion 21 contains a pH buffer composed of plural kinds of compounds in water. The plural kinds of compounds composing the pH buffer are, for example, an acid salt and an alkaline salt, and specifically the acid salt is potassium dihydrogen phosphate and the alkaline salt is dipotassium hydrogenphosphate. In that case, the lotion 21 has a pH of 6 to 8. The concentration of the pH buffer in the lotion 21 is preferably 0.008 to 0.4 molar concentration.
