To obtain a cosmetic having calefacient effects and good in touch on skin without making skin pores conspicuous after use thereof by including an exothermic agent capable of generating heat in contact with water and/or a calefacient agent and a cold sensing agent.

This cosmetic is obtained by including (A) an exothermic agent capable of generating heat in contact with water and/or a calefacient agent and (B) a cold sensing agent. For example, a polyhydric alcohol such as ethylene glycol or a polyoxyalkylene glycol adduct such as polyoxyethylene glyceryl ether is preferred as the exothermic agent capable of generating the heat in contact with water. For example, the calefacient agent is a red pepper powder or a capsicum tincture and is preferably used together with the above exothermic agent and is contained in an amount of preferably 0.001-1 wt.%. For example, the cold sensing agent is 3-l-menthoxypropane-1,2-diol and is preferably contained in an amount of 0.001-5 wt.%.
