Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a cosmetic having excellent slip, the whole readily being spread and providing a smooth feeling in use.
CONSTITUTION: A monoester of the general formula (I) R1COOR2 and a diester of the general formula (II) R3OOC-(CH2)n-COOR4 (R1 is 1-25C alkyl group, alkenyl group, hydroxyalkyl or hydroxyalkenyl group; R2 is 1-23C alkyl group, alkenyl group, hydroxyalkyl group or hydroxyalkenyl group; R3 and R4 are each 1-19C alkyl group, alkenyl group, hydroxyalkyl group or hydroxyalkenyl group; (n) is 0-6) both liquid at a normal temperature are mixed in the ratio of 2:8-8:2 by weight to give a mixture. 0.05-10 pts.wt. of the mixture based on the total weight of a cosmetic is blended with a cosmetic base to give a cosmetic.
