PURPOSE: A cosmetic having high cleansing and massaging effect, not causing deterioration of quality such as separation, etc., having improved stability free from unpleasant feeling to the skin, obtained by adding a specific amount of synthetic high polymer powder having specified particle diameters to bases during preparation.

CONSTITUTION: 0.5W30wt% synthetic high polymer powder having 0.01W0.2mm particle diameters is added to bases during preparation, to give the above-mentioned cosmetic having improved cleansing and massaging effect. A cleansing material as the base may be in a creamy, gel or powdery state, and obtained by common preparation. Similarly, a massaging material may be in a creamy, gel or powdery state. A widely used high polymer material such as a hydrocarbon polymer, polyamide polymer, vinyl polymer, polyester polymer, polyurethane polymer or their copolymers, etc. may be used as the synthetic high polymer powder.
