PURPOSE: To provide a cosmetic having excellent usability, safety and stability, by compounding an oil obtained from pili nut.

CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic such as facial cosmetic, make-up cosmetic, hair cosmetic, aromatic cosmetic, body cosmetic, etc., is compounded with ≥1wt% (based on whole cosmetic) oil (pili nut oil) obtained from pili nut. The obtained cosmetic exhi-bits unprecedent unique feeling. Since pili nut oil has a melting point of about 30°C, the cosmetic is melted by the body heat and gives desirable spreadability especially when pili nut oil is compounded to lipstick, etc. The stability of pili nut oil can be improved by using an antioxidant such as vitamin E, BHA, BHT, anthracin, etc., in combination with pili nut oil.
