Title:
COTTON BLANKET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03103204
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent yarn drop-out and to exhibit the desirable characteristics intrinsic to cotton by constituting the cotton blanket of cotton drawn threads (weft) and warp and weaving in the warp at a specific constant.

CONSTITUTION: The cotton blanket is constituted of the drawn threads (weft) and warp of 100% cotton. Cotton yarn of, for example, 5/2 to 10/2 cotton count is used for the drawn threads. The picking is specified to 3000 to 5000 pieces at 2m finish length. Synthetic fiber yarn consisting of polyester, acryl, etc., is used for the warp and the yarn of, for example, 30/2 to 40/2 count is used. This warp is woven in by ≥3000 pieces, more particularly 3000 to 4200 pieces, more preferably 3500 to 4000 pieces at 140cm finish width. The above-mentioned cotton blanket is congested with the warp 2 and since the fluffing 3 of the drawn threads 1 is substantially suppressed by this warp 2, the yarn drop-out hardly arises.
