Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter blade for a paper-making machine capable of easily correcting the shape of a blade carrier.
SOLUTION: The objective counter blade 15 for a paper-making machine has a supporting beam 20 at the lower part and a guide block 21 having U-shaped cross-section is fixed to the upper face of the beam 20 with a bolt 22. An air tube 13 and a pressing beam 23 above the tube are held in the guide block 21 in a manner vertically slidable along the inner wall of the guide block 21. A blade carrier 24 is placed at the top of the guide block 21 in a manner vertically slidable along the inner wall of the upper part of the guide block 21. The pressing beam 23 and the blade carrier 24 above the beam are connected with each other through an adjusting bolt 26. The adjusting bolt 26 has screws 26b, 26c at both sides of its head part 26a and these screws are threaded in opposite directions to form a right-handed screw and a left-handed screw.
