PURPOSE: To simplify the mechanism of a pitch change system by providing a pitch change means changing the blade pitch of a hub section and a power feed means selectively feeding pitch change power.
CONSTITUTION: This counter-rotation propeller device is generally constituted of a front hub section 12, a rear hub section 14, a front pitch change device 18, a rear pitch change device 20, a hydraulic drive device 22, an electron controller 24 and a differential device 26. The front hub section 12 and the rear hub section 14 are rotated to transfer the engine torque to blades 16. This pitch change system is connected to the base sections 40 of the blades 16 and rotatively displaces the blades 16 centering on the longitudinal axis 38 to set the blade pitch, thereby the mechanism of the pitch change system can be simplified.
