To provide a counterbore covering material capable of preventing the formation of a recessed part in a counterbore due to mere attaching of a sheet material such as wall paper to the counterbore when sticking the sheet material, dispensing with the adjustment of dimensional error when attaching the sheet material, and preventing the occurrence of dew condensation in the counterbore.
This counterbore covering material is constituted by forming a thick-walled part by swelling a central part of the circular and deformed foaming sheet having a ratio of diameter D of an opening part 31 in the counterbore 30 to be covered to outside diameter 1 of 0.8-1.0 when the diameter D is 1 on one face side, setting thickness t1 of the thick-walled part to 10-50 mm and thickness t2 of the other parts to 5-20 mm, and, preferably, providing an adhesive layer 12 on a surface on a swelling side of the thick-walled part.
