Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the inspection and the maintenance of a circulation pump and a drive motor by removably placing the pump and the motor on a drawable slide base out of a heat exchanging tower body at the part of a body frame, and detachably fixing the base to the frame.
CONSTITUTION: The connection of the circulating cooling water outlet of a filling water tank to the suction port of a circulation pump C is removed, and further the fixture of a slide base 60 to the body frame is removed. Then, the base 60 which places the pump C and its drive motor is drawn out of a heat exchanging tower body of one type of a heat exchanging tower. The maintenance and the inspection of the pump C and the motor are executed.
