Title:
COUNTERMEASURE CONSTRUCTION METHOD AGAINST LIQUEFACTION OF GROUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011256647
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a countermeasure construction method against liquefaction of ground capable of preventing liquefaction by maintaining an excess pore water pressure lower than a prescribed value (a threshold) without improving an entire region where liquefaction prevention is required.

The method comprises the processes: to construct a plurality of columnar improvement bodies (40) which reach a stratum (Gc) having no risk of being liquefied; and to construct a plurality of planar improvement bodies (5), with a vertical distance each other, which collectively form slabs (50) binding the plurality of the columnar improvement bodies. A vertical distance (h) between the slabs (50) is equal to or less than 12.0 m and a value calculated by dividing the vertical distance between the slabs by a thickness thereof in vertical direction (t) is equal to or less than 12.0.
