Abstract:
To provide a counting apparatus capable of counting flat workpieces with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A counting apparatus for counting a plurality of flat workpieces, includes a carrying-in device that carries, in batches, workpieces which are stacked in a rectangular shape, an elevating device that elevates the carried workpieces for counting, a counting and dividing device that counts the workpieces being elevated, and divides the counted workpieces into workpiece groups each consisting of a prescribed number of workpieces and transmits the groups one by one, and a carrying-out device that carries out the transmitted workpiece groups. The counting and dividing device includes a shaping unit that includes a shaping body for generating steps between adjacent workpieces by horizontally separating the workpieces that are being elevated, apart from each other in the front-rear direction, an angular regulation unit that includes an angle regulation body facing the shaping body, and adjustably regulates the separation distance between the workpieces, and a pressing unit that includes a detector for detecting the steps and counting the workpieces, and includes a pressing body which can move horizontally and vertically.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
