Abstract:
To provide a counting device and its usage method, by which a counter is operated only at the time of necessity, power consumption is saved, superimposed counter decoding signals are removed to easily constitute a circuit and an operation mode is selected by one control signal.
This counting device is provided with a counter part 10 for counting, a mode selecting part 20 for detecting the time length of a high level state in an enable starting signal CNTEN and resetting the counting value Q of the counter part 10, a control part 30 for enabling or disenabling he counter part 10 and a detecting part 40 for detecting a previously set counting value Q0 and holding it.
