Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce secondary time by fixedly disposing a counting device provided with a counting disc on a carrying section, and providing the carrying section with a supply system for uniformly moving packages of paper at a prescribed interval after the counting disc passes.
CONSTITUTION: A package of paper P fed in an arrow direction in a carrying section 2a is attached with a belt decoration B in a belt decoration attaching station 7. The package of paper P then passes a carrying section 2b to be moved on a carrying support 3, while it is pressed by each front stopper 5. Two counting devices 1, 1' installed immovably on the carrying section 2b are provided with drive wheels 1b, 1b' and rotary counting discs 1a, 1a'. After completion of counting, a correct number of the packages of paper P are moved through a carrying section 2c to be fed to a packaging station. A carrying section 2d removes the incorrect number of the packages of paper P.
