Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupler attachment/detachment device that enables a coupler attachment/detachment operation to be safely and easily performed.SOLUTION: A coupler attachment/detachment device 100 for performing an operation for attaching/detaching a coupler C to/from a vehicle body of a railway vehicle includes a movable truck part 1, a holding part 3 for holding the coupler C, and a lifting/lowering mechanism part 2 that is supported by the truck part 1 to lift/lower the holding part 3. The coupler C held by the holding part 3 can be moved in a stable state; the operation for attaching/detaching the coupler C can be safely and easily performed; and a burden of the attachment/detachment operation can be reduced.
