Abstract:
For releasably coupling a body (2) and a head (3) of a personal care appliance /1), a coupling assembly (10) is provided which comprises a coupling element (52) and a retaining member (42). One of the coupling element and the retaining member comprises at least one cam element (55) and another of the coupling element and the retaining member comprises at least one notch (46). Both the cam element (55) and the notch (46) have two oppositely sloped surfaces (48; 57). In a coupled position of the coupling assembly, the cam element (55) and the notch (46) only contact each other at two sides through their sloped surfaces (48; 57) at the position of a contact portion (55a) at a base of the cam element (55) and an associated contact portion (46a) of the notch (46) at an open side of the notch (46).
