Abstract:
To provide a coupling cooling system that can effectively cool a coupling while restraining an increase in cost of a power device and a decrease in ease of assembly.SOLUTION: A coupling cooling system according to the present invention comprises a power device and a control unit. The power device comprises an engine, a hydraulic pump, a coupling connecting the engine and the hydraulic pump, and a coupling case provided between the engine and the hydraulic pump, and housing the coupling. The coupling case comprises an air intake port communicating with outside air, an air exhaust port for exhausting internal air, and an opening/closing device for opening/closing the air exhaust port. The control unit comprises a heat receiving determination unit for determining the presence or absence of heat reception from the outside of the coupling case, a heat generation determination unit for determining the presence or absence of heat generation in the coupling case, and an opening/closing unit for switching opening/closing of the opening/closing device on the basis of determination results of the heat receiving determination unit and the heat generation determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
