Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate cooling water for molds and necessity for fine adjustments in axes alignment of coupling devices of electric heaters, and reduce the abrasion of coupling parts.
CONSTITUTION: Units 8 which move freely within the opposing planes of at least either one of a mold or a feeding side are provided, and couplings 7 which move freely within the planes of the units 8 are provided. Positioning pins 3 for positioning the units 8 and insert holes 6 for positioning pins 3 are also provided. By fitting the pins 3 into the holes 6, the whole units 8 are positioned through moving within the opposing planes of the mold and the feeding side, and then, at the time of mutual fitting of the couplings 4 and 7 the couplings 7 move individually within the planes of the units 8, aligning the respective axes. Thus, even in case of mutual deviation of axes, fitting may be accomplished without forcible rubbing, reducing abrasion of pins 3, the insert holes 6, the couplings 4 and 7.
