Abstract:

To provide a coupling device that facilitates coupling/releasing operations and has low cost.

A fixed frame 20 of the coupling device 1 is fixed to a locomotive 100. A movable frame 15 is bendably mounted to the fixed frame 20 by articulated pin 21. Three tight couplers 2A-2C are supported by the movable frame 15. Each coupler 2 has two-axis horizontal/vertical pin couplings and a damper in its base. Incongruity of a coupling surface with an other party coupling device is absorbed by each movable part and the damper, and each coupler 2 can be easily coupled to the other party. The coupling device can easily follow a curved line and cutback line by articulate action.
