Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to couple the titled rotor, by providing tightening margine necessary for coupling without deforming a disk elastically, in the titled rotor consisting of combination of materials, such as combination of an aluminum disk and a copper rotary shaft, whose coefficients of linear expansion differ with each other. CONSTITUTION:It is essential to maintain tightening margine at a face A-A sufficiently large to resist against centrifugal force. Although stress of the tightening margine of an inner diametral part of an intermediate ring 3 becomes large in consequence, the ring 3 does not yeild due to its strong strength as the intermediate ring 3 is made of the same steel as a material of a rotary shaft. A cross section in an axial direction of faces B-B and C-C is in structure wherein a trapezoid groove 4 and a protrusion 5 casted in the groove 4 are connected in a body with each other. As a reduction of the tightening margine, therefore, on the faces B-B and C-C resulting from a difference between thermal expansion quantities of materials is very little, it is quite enough to think of only the tightening margine and a disk 2 does not yeild even if it is made of aluminum.
