PURPOSE: To fit and fix surely a pipe material to a plate material by forming a collared ring by a press to the outside circumferential part in the coupling part of the pipe material, inserting the same into the coupling hole of the plate material and forming again a collared ring by the press on the opposite side of the collared ring.

CONSTITUTION: A mandrel 2 is inserted into a pipe material 1 and a collared ring 11 is formed on the outside circumference of the pipe 1 by upper and lower dies 3, 4 of a press. The material 1 is inserted down to the root of the collar into the coupling hole of a plate material 5 and again a collared ring 12 on the opposite side is formed by upper and lower dies 6, 7 of the press to fit and fix the pipe material 1 to the plate material 5. The sure and secure fixing is accomplished by the simple installation and operation and the working efficiency is improved. Segmental dies are used for the press dies if the pipe is long-sized.
