To provide a coupling for a reduction gear and a reduction gear unit provided with the coupling for the reduction gear capable of shortening an axial direction length of a connection part to provide a displacement quality in the connection part.
This reduction gear unit 1 has a motor 2, a coupling for reduction gear 10, and a planetary gear device 20. A clamp is provided in an input member 12 of the coupling for the reduction gear 10, and an output shaft 3 of the motor 2 is fixed to the clamp. A sun gear 17B is provided in an output member 17, a planet gear 21 of the planetary gear device 20 is meshed. A displacement means is provided between the input/out members 12, 17. The coupling 10 is rotated according to rotation of the output shaft 3, the planet gear 21 is also rotated. Further, an internal gear 22 meshed with the planet gear 21 is rotated. A rotational speed of the output shaft 3 is reduced, to be output from a reduction gear shaft 23 integrally provided in the internal gear 22.
