To provide a joint for a cable protection pipe capable of surely protecting a cable or the like to be housed inside.SOLUTION: A joint for cable protection pipe 21 includes, a short pipe 31, a first diameter-enlarged pipe 41, a first diameter-reduced pipe 51, a first swollen part 61, a second diameter-enlarged pipe 42, a third diameter-enlarged pipe 43, a protrusion part 48, a second diameter-reduced pipe 52, a second swollen part 62, and a fourth diameter-enlarged pipe 44. The inner diameter of the short pipe 31 is larger than the inner diameters of cable protection pipes 5A, 5B and is smaller than the outer diameters of the cable protection pipes 5A, 5B, an interval between an end part 31a of the short pipe 31 and a place having the smallest inner diameter from an end part 31b of the short pipe 31 to a third diameter-enlarged end 43b of the third diameter-enlarged pipe 43 is equal to or more than 0.01 m and equal to or less than 1 m, and elastic members 71, 72 are provided inside the first swollen part 61 and the second swollen part 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
