To provide a cover for an automobile capable of applying a single body cover to a wide variety types of vehicles, facilitating attachment/detachment by one-person operation, formed by combining small cut pieces, eliminating necessity of sewing the cut pieces in advance in a state of being mated with a side mirror, attaining high production efficiency, and attaining a stereophonic view for the completed body cover.
This cover is composed of a roof part and at least a two-step type side part. The roof part forms an upper surface part of the body cover, and the two-step type side surface parts are disposed on both the right and left. The two-step type side surface parts are composed of the side parts and inclination parts laid on up and down or composed of a front part and a rear part laid on the right and left. An arc shaped protruding line is provided on the two side surface parts in the course of cutting. A cut line is not linear, therefore, a protruding area is formed in a horizontal or a vertical direction to joint the side parts, thus housing the side mirror of the vehicle body at a space of the curved protruding area extended to the outside.
