PURPOSE: To provide a cover body for a bathtub capable of preventing the retention of moisture on the upper face of the cover body, attaining a high heat insulation property for the bathtub, and making the cover body compact at the time of storage.

CONSTITUTION: A tilt face 12 having liquid fluidity is formed on the upper face of a cover body 11, and a packing 15 contactably corresponding to the upper edge face 22 of a bathtub 21 is fitted on the lower face of the cover body 11. The tilt face 12 on the upper face of the cover body 11 exerts a drainage effect and a compact lamination effect of the cover bodies 11 together, and the packing 15 on the lower face of the cover body 11 prevents the infiltration of a liquid into the bathtub 21 and exerts a heat insulation property in the bathtub 21.
