Abstract:
To provide a cover cloth by which a toothed belt having excellent heat resistance and durability is produced.
The cover cloth is used for the toothed belt which includes a core wire for reinforcement embedded in the longitudinal direction of the belt, and has many tooth parts arranged at a prescribed pitch in the longitudinal direction of the belt, and the surface of the tooth part of which is covered with the cover cloth. The cover cloth is obtained by weaving or knitting a filament crimped yarn of a heat-resistant highly functional fiber, having 4-78% elongation recovery measured based on JIS K 1013.
