Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cover device for a tool holder, said cover device being capable of facilitating handling when attaching and detaching the tool holder to and from a machine tool, and when handling the tool holder. Accordingly, a cover device (100) for a tool holder (20) is provided with: an attachment screw (50) (an attachment part) detachably attached to the tool holder (20) which is fitted to a tool rest (300) of an automatic lathe (the machine tool), and which has, fixed thereto, a cutting tool (10) (a tool) having a cutting edge (10a); a cover part (60) for covering the cutting edge (10a); and a handle (70) (a grip part) capable of being grasped while in a state of being attached to the tool holder (20).
