To provide a cover device that obviates provision of an extra space for opening/closing in front of an opening and allows the device itself to be assembled in a compact manner.
An opening for operation that is open to the operation panel 21 of an electrical box is formed in the rear panel 12A of a machine room, and a cover device 25 is installed thereto. The cover device 25 is provided with a mounting base 30 to be secured around the opening for operation with screws, and a three-way frame-shaped frame body 45 the stopper frame 33 of which is bridged to the ends of upper and lower rails 37 and 41 on one side is formed thereon. A slide door 50 is fit from the side of the open end of the frame body 45, and when the slide door is brought into contact with the stopper frame 33, the open end is thereby closed. A projected portion 55 is formed on the rear side of the handle 52 of the slide door 50, and the head of the screw 60 positioned on the side of the open end of the frame body 45 functions as a stopper 61. When the projected portion 55 is brought into contact with the stopper 61, the movement of the slide door 50 in the open direction is thereby arrested.
