Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover that is comparatively simply attachable to and detachable from a handrail stand, a cover 10 which is attached to the outside of a socket 4 of a handrail stand 1 and which mitigates impact of collision with a human body, in the handrail stand 1 comprising: a base 2 installed on the floor; sockets 4 installed projectingly upward on the base 2; and props (3a, 3b) whose upper parts are provided with grab bars (3c-3f) and whose lower ends are inserted into the sockets 4.SOLUTION: The cover 10 is designed to be a cylindrical elastic body that is snugly fitted to the outside of the socket 4.
