To provide a cover for a lighting fixture, effective for suppressing the attraction of flying insects by applying to a lighting fixture such as a fluorescent lamp and produced by using an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition having excellent ultraviolet ray absorptivity in a specific wavelength range, weather resistance, hydrolysis resistance, impact resistance, heat-resistance, color tone stability and transparency.

The cover of a lighting fixture is produced by molding an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition containing (a) 100 pts. wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate rein having a terminal hydroxy concentration of ≥300 ppm and a residual monomer content of ≤500 ppm, (b) 0.1-1 pt. wt. of a benzotriazole-based ultraviolet absorber having a maximum absorption wavelength of 350-400 nm, (c) 0.003-1 pt. wt. of a benzofuran-2-one compound, (d) 0.01-2 pts. wt. of a phosphorous acid ester-type stabilizer and (e) 0.01-2 pts. wt. of a phenolic antioxidant.
